Since the war in Ukraine began, thousands of animals have faced imminent threats to their safety. One of these many animals is Lipchyk, a calf who was rescued from an active warzone among building ruins.
Lipchyk was so weak and malnourished he couldn’t walk or even stand without support. His coat was dirty and he was trembling from exhaustion and hunger. Poor Lipchyk was given stabilizing fluids and began a re-feeding plan to help him gain weight.
